Charles T. Koontz Intermediate School, conveniently located in South Asheville, serves students in grades 5 and 6 who live in the T.C. Roberson High School District. As a “Leader in Me” school, we explicitly teach and promote the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People throughout our building in coordination with our Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) program. Our building is LEED certified and enhanced with an abundance of natural lighting, conservation features and rainwater collection cisterns.
